Roundhouse Engineering 'Billy' Summerlands Chuffer fitment

This video shows how I fitted a Summerlands Chuffer to my Roundhouse Billy locomotive. It may appear a little drastic, but sometimes the longest way is the shortest. I hate struggling trying to get something out if there is a kinder and better way to do so, even if it takes a little more time. I bought the Summerlands Chuffer from Chris Bird who kindly made this one especially for my model by giving him a few measurements. I collected it from the Exeter Garden Railway Show and fitted it the other evening. WHilst I was that far into the model I decided it would be a good idea to change some of the seals, gaskets and o rings for trouble free running. I have owned this Locomotive from new, since 1996, and have had many, many hours of running and fun with it. I won't go on to say it is a pristine example because it isn't. Maybe sometime in the future I will repaint Billy and turn it into a show piece once again. Many thanks to Chris Bird for the Chuffer: http://summerlands-chuffer.co.uk/ Here is Billys thread: http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/abo... Roundhouse Engineering: http://www.roundhouse-eng.com/
