In Part 3 of the Yamaha RD350LC engine rebuild series, preparation is everything. With the motor now completely stripped, it’s time to finish removing and cleaning the last components ready for vapour blasting and Cerakote finishing. Every piece of the RD350LC engine is being carefully prepped to ensure a perfect foundation for the rebuild. From the crankcases to the smallest fasteners, everything is inspected, cleaned, and restored so it’s ready for reassembly in the next stage. This is where the transformation really starts to take shape — the vapour blasting and Cerakote process will not only bring the parts back to life but set the stage for the engine’s return to full health.
