On July 20, 2015, we grafted pistachio buds onto the melon trees in my hometown of Balcı village, Bor, Niğde Province. We had wild pistachio saplings in our vineyard, and we grafted them all. While the date seems a bit late, the separation of the grafted branches and buds from the branch will make those who know this craft think it was the perfect time. Pistachio grafting videos are few and the images weren't clear, but I can say it's a nice pistachio grafting video. The ties surrounding the grafting buds should be loosened after three weeks, otherwise the buds will suffocate and die.
