Shimano STX shifter overhaul
In this video, I demonstrate the process of a Shimano STX shifter overhaul. The common problem with the shifter was no engagement of the shifting mechanism when pushing the shift lever. Most of the time all that is needed is a simple flush of the old lubricant and re-lubing. This model (ST-MC30) STX shifter is fairly easy to remove the shift mechanism from the lever assembly for servicing.
