Kinesthetic Learning Style (LL14)

This is the last of a series on the learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic). This video covers the kinesthetic learner the tactile learner. This is probably the least talked about learning style because a lower percentage of the population learns this way, but it is important to know how to support students with the kinesthetic learning style. These are the children that do. Just being told or shown is not enough. There are some tips to help your child learn in a way that suits them best, especially seeing as they are not going to be able to just sit still. Get your children involved in projects. Take frequent breaks when doing homework. Use flashcards you can move around. For little ones, use finger tracing. I also recommend the game/app Chicktionary - a very fun game that helps with spelling, and answer a question about getting your child evaluated if you think there is an issue.
