Introducing NeuroFlow- Tai Chi for Stroke Survivors
We are excited to announce that we have joined forces with NeuroFlow Tai Chi to deliver FREE Tai Chi sessions every Monday starting on Monday 6th July. The sessions will take place at 4pm LIVE on our Facebook page and later uploaded to this YouTube channel. These sessions can be done whilst seated and will be hosted by Dr. Giles Yeates - Clinical Neuropsychologist and Tai Chi teacher and Alison Smith, a Tai Chi teacher and Stroke Survivor. This video is an overview of the benefits of Tai Chi for stroke survivors and a taster session. The relaxing benefits of Tai Chi can include having a positive influence on many aspects of stroke recovery, particularly with fatigue - which impacts a lot of people in our community. There will also be the opportunity to take part in research to see how these sessions benefit you and your recovery. We hope you will join us and benefit from these sessions.
