Plain Bob Triples being rung in the belfry of St Laurence in Thanet, Kent 14cwt in E

St Laurence in Thanet holds a punchy ring of 10 cast by Mears of different dates and retuned in 1997 by Whitechapel. Bells 5 and 6 being cast in 1808, the 3, 7 and 8 dating from 1891, 4, 9 and 10 are from 1911 and the two trebles were augmented in 1924 to create this ring of 10! The bells are incredibly easy to ring going very smoothly and easy to handle although some bells go through extra pulleys requiring slightly more ‘oomph’ than the other bells!!
