Streets of Rage 4 - Mania+ S-Rank 1CC (Shiva) (v08)

I've been playing this again recently, getting back to S-ranking Mania+ with the rest of the cast. Shiva isn't the strongest character in the game, but he might be the most fun one to play. He's got a nice moveset with air combos and OTGs that give him some fun combo opportunities, but his attacks can leave him pretty open. It sucks doing a flying kick into a big group of enemies and getting smacked in the middle of it by one of the yellow pants Donovans for example. His back attack is great though, and both of his star attacks are really good. I'm still not sure which one is better... the clones will constantly damage big groups of enemies, so it's good for combos and crowd control, but it's so chaotic that I still end up getting hit in the middle of it sometimes. His other star move is just nice for a big burst of damage on hard parts, but it's gone as soon as you use it, so I dunno. I went with the clones and it works out just fine. I lost a lot of score in this run (as usual), but it was pretty clean survival wise. I think I only died one time? I played it a few days ago so I've already forgotten where lol. I'm getting pretty close to being able to finish this without dying now; what usually costs me in my runs is going too hard with the special attacks to maintain my combo, then getting smacked and losing most of my life. I think if I played carefully without worrying too much about maintaining my combo I'd be able to do it without grinding too much. But for now I'll just finish S-ranking with the rest of the main cast (+ Roo), then I'll probably work on no death run(s).
