PARFUM LE PLUS LUXUEUX DU MONDE À 1470€ - L'IRIS DE FATH DE JACQUES FATH

The Iris of Fath, the rebirth of a myth. Iris Gris by Jacques Fath is recognized as one of the greatest perfumes, if not the greatest, never equaled. The unique duo of two great accords, Iris and Peach, reflect the exceptional know-how of perfumer Vincent Roubert. Showcasing Iris in unparalleled concentration, this was one of the most expensive fragrances in the world. Launched in 1947, it will disappear the same year as Fath, in 1954. Often copied and certainly never equaled, it remains unique and timeless. This heritage could not remain trapped in the limbo of the past. Under the aegis of Creative Director Rania Naim, Parfums Jacques Fath launched an international competition of perfumers to reproduce this great perfume as faithfully as possible. The myth will be reborn, thanks to two young talents, unanimously chosen by a committee of experts: Patrice Revillard, Perfumer and Yohan Cervi, Creative Director of Maelström. Like a chrysalis turning into a butterfly, it becomes: THE IRIS of FATH After all, whatever the name, whatever the color, as long as the emotion is intact A MAJESTIC WOODY FLORAL COMPOSITION The fragrance opens with a luminous accord, composed of Neroli and Petit-grain, followed by the note of downy peach, both sparkling and delicious. It marries the complex and rich notes of Iris, overdosed and worked in all its facets. Together they form a heart full of powerful and joyful emotions. A bouquet of Jasmine, Rose and Violet refines these effects with refinement, while Carnation brings a spicy touch and adds its vibrancy to the fragrance. Bourbon Vetiver, Sandalwood and Oak Moss Absolute establish the composition while taking root on the skin, thanks to some darker and more mysterious aspects.
