A Foster's Home Tribute (2011)

I came across this fake Foster's Home tribute video on an old hard drive I’ve kept since the early 2010s. At first glance, it looks like a typical slideshow, just like the countless tribute videos people used to make back then. But this one is different. It’s part of those infamous One True Media troll attacks that spread creepy cartoon shock videos across the internet. This video started on One True Media and eventually found its way onto other platforms. A lot of people who saw it back in the day said it messed them up, with its strange and disturbing imagery leaving them unable to sleep. There were several videos like this one if you were visiting One True Media during that period. Some of them initially seemed normal but were edited to include disturbing or graphic elements later on. While a majority of the other videos are now lost, a handful of screenshots have been recovered and shared online.
