Din-Don: This Ukrainian carol was recently composed by Anna Melnychuk, who kindly granted us permission to perform it, asking us to pray for her afflicted country. 2. "The Huron Carol." St. Jean de Brebeuf, a great Jesuit missionary and martyr who evangelized the Huron tribe in North America, is credited with writing this carol. With it, he sought to convey the mystery of the Nativity of Our Lord to the indigenous people. 3. "Puer Natus in Bethlehem." This traditional Latin Christmas hymn dates back to the 12th or 13th century. 4. "In the Dark Night". This Ukrainian carol won our hearts from the moment we first heard it sung by the monks of the Lavra monastery, who wrote the lyrics and musical arrangement.
