Camping trip with the lads on Lough Corrib

Camping and Kayaking on the River Corrib. We started our journey from Maam Bridge in Conemara. We kayaked down to Castle Kirk and stopped to have lunch. We then continued on to The Hill of Doon and set up camp for the night as the weather was starting to change for the worst. We later found out that the weather had been upgraded from a Yellow Warning to a Red Warning so we all decided to wait it out until morning and make a decision of what to do next. The next morning the weather was a lot worse, We decided that we were going to have to cut our journey short and make the decision to head home. So we packed up camp and make the journey further down to a safe spot for all of us to pull in. The motorboat on the other hand had to continue further down as it wasn't feasible to pick it up on the trailer. Daryll and Darren took the motorboat another half hour down to a safe landing spot for the boat. They went through extremely treacherous water and gave us an extremely intense 40minutes before they got to shore safely.
