Sony RDR VX530 DVD/VCR Combo with a broken gear Part 2 the FINAL repair!

This is part 2 of the Sony (made by Samsung) RDR-VX530 DVD/VCR Combo. In part 1 I found a broken gear and could not find a replacement gear from Sony or Samsung. I did find a complete replacement mechanism on eBay. After VCR mechanism replacement and a worn DVD tray belt it works great again.
