Check out the Shimpo RK Whisper professional potter's wheel that just arrived at my studio. I'll be sharing more pottery clips from here on out. Nidec Shimpo is a Japanese company highly regarded for their pottery tools. I had been using a vintage model RK-2, but it recently broke down and will have to be repaired. That ended up being a good thing, however. This new wheel is amazing!
