Packington's Pound
This is a centuries old English melody called "Packington's Pound". Due to it's minor scale, it works well with the D-A-d-c (low to high) tuning in 4-equidistant strings for the dulcimer. (I have a weak spot for minor scale pieces!) I am playing it here on a custom ordered Tindle Dulcimer I just completed for a customer friend who sent some very special curly maple and 100-year-old spruce for this build. I also did some custom inlays and a 3-piece binding scheme. You can check it out on my website with the link below. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching.
