Limmernsee Muttsee Solo Hike through Kraftwerkstollen/Tunnel September 2025

I left the house at 8.30 in Linthal and biked to the Luftseilbahn Tierfed (the Gondola). Roundtrip back to Linthal (including breaks) was 6 hrs. Most beautiful hike I have ever done. Important: -Chalchtrittli descent at the end is steep! -Proper hiking shoes an absolute must -The Stollen/Tunnel is very cold and wet (1-2cm of water to walk through) -This hike (Kalktrittli part) is NOT for kids. The Glaner Alps are stunning!
