A nostalgic look back at Merseyrail's Birkenhead depot
A group of former Merseyrail engineers enjoyed a special tour around the Birkenhead depot recently, seeing the changes and improvements in the years since they worked there. They reminisced about the previous fleet roll out of new trains which began 45 years ago, and remarked on the similarities with the current roll out of the Class 777 units.
