Wood Burning - Bengal Tiger pyrography tutorial

In this pyrography episode, I will explain how to create my Bengal Tiger artwork. This is a long tutorial, but I have broken it down into numerous easy to navigate chapters. Here's a link to the blog on my website. The blog has a free pattern that you can use for this artwork. https://wp.me/p8j0lZ-8xy Tips for working on the tiger: 1 - Use a light hand pressure 2 - Don't rush 3 - Burn at a lower heat and re-burn to build up color and texture 4 - Keep edges of fur jagged. No crisp lines! 5 - Take breaks to keep the artwork from becoming monotonous 6 - Work on the artwork upside-down. This will allow you to see it with fresh eyes. Makes sure to rotate the reference photo so that it matches the orientation of the artwork. Color: The white fur needs to be lighter in value than both the black and orange fur. The white fur around the eyes should the the lightest in value of all of the white fur A good range for white is light to dark tan The orange fur needs to be darker than the white fur, but lighter in color than the black stripes. Light brown to medium brown is a good range for the orange fur The black fur is the darkest value on the tiger. I would keep it in the dark brown to black range.
