This time, I sang “Ooki na Mori no Chiisana Ouchi,” originally performed by Naoko Kawai. It’s actually my very first time covering a Naoko Kawai song on YouTube. I didn’t know this song at all before filming. I happened to be wearing this outfit for another song, and suddenly thought, “Maybe this song would match this costume!” So I learned the song on location right before recording. The reason I’ve never sung Naoko Kawai’s songs until now is simple: she has incredible vocal ability, and my own singing can’t reach her level. The key didn’t match my voice at all, so I tried to sing with extra energy to make up for it. Also… during the take where I finally managed to sing it, I noticed a section of hair sticking out on the left side of my wig. It kept bouncing and distracting me. I re-recorded it, but I couldn’t sing as well as the first take, so I decided to upload this version. Please enjoy finding the rebellious little piece of hair with me. About the lyrics: they sound cute and fairy‑tale‑like at first, but when adults read them, some people say they notice a different meaning beneath the surface.
