Easter Model Railway Exhibition 2026 - Lilydale Yarra Valley Model Railway Club Part 1 Hello all, Welcome to a model railway exhibition video. Today we head to the annual Easter Model Railway Exhibition hosted by the Yarra Valley Model Railway Club. This year the exhibition is in an all-new location: the Lilydale Basketball Stadium. The exhibition was formerly held at the Diamond Creek Bank Stadium over the last few years, but has slowly outgrown the venue. The move to Lilydale also sees the exhibition moved into its local area, near the clubrooms also based in Lilydale. This year's exhibition spanned over four basketball courts, with an exhibitor count of 55 based on the program. Of the 55 exhibits, 18 were operational layouts, and we aim to capture as many of these as possible over the two parts covering this year's exhibition. The layouts cover a range of domestic and international eras and regions. In this part we include 8 of the layouts, all of which were seen on the first two basketball courts, representing some Australian, British and North American regions. It was formerly at the Diamond Creek Bank Stadium. The Yarra Valley Model Railway Club is based out of the Lilydale Railway Goods Shed who host weekly running sessions on their permanent layout.
