Faceting a YAG gemstone.

I cut a 376 carat portuguese cut gemstone in the synthetic material Yttrium Aluminum Garnet or YAG. This material is used in the optics and laser industry. It can be purchased in several different colors. When i strated cutting the gemstone i had planned on cutting a variation of a standard round brilliant but after starting i decided to cut the portuguese design. Therefore i had to make the diameter smaller so the the gem would be tall enough for the portuguese deeper pavillion. I used an ultra tec v2 faceting machine w the digital angle readout which was added on. Thanks for watching and feel free to comment below.
