Pip-Boy 3000 Mk IV, Cable Retract Test
Here I am testing the "Pull-to-Retract" cable mechanism on my functional Pip-Boy design. Unfortunately the spring I selected just wasn't designed for this use. But the cable lock and retract mechanism does work. These parts are temporary FDM 3D printed prototypes, the final parts will SLS printed with tighter tolerances.
