My terrible experience selling paintings. I really wanted to become a successful Etsy seller in Ukraine, but I am disappointed and am closing the store. Fedex delivery service lost my parcel, and now I know how ETSY compensation and insurance work. I will continue to develop Ukrainian YouTube about creativity as an artist. I decided to close my art store on Etsy, because it no longer inspires me to invest time in it. I tried many things to promote my paintings and postcards on Etsy, but these actions did not bring significant results. I had only a few customers and very few sales, although a lot of time was spent. In the video, I talked about the reasons for this failure, in my opinion. In particular, this is huge competition in the drawing and painting segment, as well as the development of AI, which allowed generating high-quality images for printing. And this fully satisfies customer demand. The same actions in promoting my other store on Etsy brought much better results. And I decided to invest my time in something that brings me income, because it is extremely important to me. And creativity will remain for pleasure. Also in the video I talked about how my parcel, which I sent by Fedex express mail, got lost at customs. The client was very dissatisfied and wanted a refund. And I was very worried that the platform would withdraw this money from my account, although Etsy has an order insurance system. That is, if the client did not receive the order, the platform can compensate for the amount of $ 250, and during the New Year season up to $ 500. I was lucky, and this complaint from the client did not affect my rating. And he received compensation and very soon - and the parcel itself.
