The 1st Lecture Series of the Agricultural Course at IFPA Altamira Campus presents the lecture “Strategies for preparing for the ENEM exam in Mathematics,” given by Professor Leandro Santana da Costa Filho and Professor Tarcyana do S. Figueiredo de Sousa. The activity will address study strategies focused on preparing for the ENEM exam in Mathematics, discussing ways to improve student performance through study organization, understanding the main content covered, problem-solving, and developing logical and mathematical reasoning. The lecture aims to contribute to a more efficient, conscious, and oriented preparation for the demands of the exam. Professor Leandro Santana da Costa Filho holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UFPA and a Master's degree in Advanced Mathematics from the University of Seville, Spain. Currently, she works at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon, Paragominas campus, at the Federal University of Pará (Distance Learning), and at Colégio Impacto, in Paragominas. Professor Tarcyana do S. Figueiredo de Sousa holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UFPA, a Master's degree in Mathematics from UFPA, and a Doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Seville, Spain. She has worked at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon, Paragominas campus, and in the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics and Statistics at UFPA, as a professor in the master's and doctoral programs and as a researcher. With a solid academic background and experience in the field, the speakers will contribute to an important discussion on academic preparation, study planning, and strengthening learning in Mathematics, an essential topic for students preparing for the ENEM (Brazilian National High School Exam). Aimed at students and other interested parties, this lecture seeks to strengthen academic training, increase participants' confidence in mathematics, and offer useful guidance for exam preparation.
