Oily Hands Diesel Day 2013 - Saturday

What a fantastic weekend it was. Almost perfect weather for free flight planes, with only a few getting lost in the canola fields (why do they always paint their planes yellow?). The "FF plane of the meet" this year was MIMI, by Ray Malstrom, and quite a few were on hand - including a R/C conversion. The regular events and competitions were held - .049 flying rag mass launch, the Cowra Plank CL race, free flight scramble, and new for this year was the catapult launch glider scramble. It was noted that some of the "old hands" had brought their grand kids along to run the glider back to the start position - stretching the rules a little perhaps?
