MY FIRST QUILTING RETREAT FOR 2026

This was my first retreat for 2026 and it was a short one from Friday-Sunday January 23-25. I have attended many retreats at the Carmelite Spiritual Center over the years and have enjoyed every one of them. The center is very large with multiple other groups attending for different retreats so filming public spaces is hard to do. This facility has multiple wings and large conference rooms for events. There are small rooms as well for meditation retreats. The sewing space is large and we each have our own large table for set up with a large counter space for snacks and coffee. They set up fresh ice water daily and throughout the day and all the coffee is provided by them and you know how important that is when you are staying up until 1 am talking and sewing. This video is short as most time is spent sewing and just enjoying time with other creative quilters. There were some donation quilts being made but I was not able to snap a picture of them. Great appreciation to those who donate so much of their time and expense to give back to the community. My next planned retreat at this faculty is August and November.
