Peterborough, South Australia: a town with charming historical experiences.
Mike's visit to the historic railway town of Peterborough in South Australia. The Railway Museum with its sound and light show is wonderful, giving a marvellous historical perspective. The print shop on the main street is a treasure with Mary, its dedicated curator. Eric Rann has made models of all the locomotives which featured in the town's history. He will be forever remembered for his skills and I was very fortunate to meet him. Michael very kindly took me out on a visit to the Waikeringa gold mine where we walked underground unsupervised. Don't pass by Peterborough; spend at least one day there and discover its historical and unique experiences!
