I almost got lost on the Kemomanai Forest Road in Esashi Town, a forest road I had completely underestimated. There were many Y-junctions with the same level of maintenance, making it difficult to tell which was the main road, and I got stuck in a quagmire. I was driving mostly by instinct, and just when I felt relieved after reaching a paved section of the road, I saw a shadow of a tree on the road that looked like a bear. Apparently, this is called "pareidolia."
