FIESTA PARA LOS OJOS en BANJA LUKA, eslava y ortodoxa

With my wife Dace we went through this side of the map again to share it with you. We hope you will join us in finding without searching, which is our way of approaching these geographies. Banja Luka is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is the capital of the Republika Srpska, one of the country's two political entities. The city is located in the northwest, near the border with Croatia. A sunny spring afternoon accompanies us to blend in with the passers-by, we want to be one of the Serbo-Croats. It is that this part of Bosnia Herzegovina has an overwhelming Serb majority, as it has been reconfigured during the post civil war. The differences with respect to Sarajevo are notable, we can say absolutely convinced that there are no points of comparison. The Republika Sprska has very little to do with Muslimism and rather honors Slavic pre-eminence. Banja Luka is a city with a rich history and culture. There are several important historical and cultural monuments, such as the Kastel fortress, the Orthodox Church of Saint George, and the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Something that does not stop attracting attention is that the Cyrillic alphabet is used here, unlike the Bosnian part in which it is written with Latin. Banja Luka has a population of around 200,000 and is an important economic, cultural and educational center in the region. Banja Luka University is one of the leading educational institutions in the country. The city is also known for its green spaces, especially the city park, which is a popular place to walk and relax. Also, Banja Luka is famous for its hot springs, which attract many visitors every year. When it comes to nightlife, there are several bars, clubs and restaurants in Banja Luka offering a wide variety of options. There are also many festivals and cultural events throughout the year, such as the International Film Festival, the Theater Festival, the International Music Festival and the Beer Festival, among others. The truth is that it is not difficult for us to feel here at a feast for the eyes. Traveling is hyper-living and we will continue to share it with you. #DelOtroLadoDelMapa #ViajarEsHipervivir 🌎 Subtitles in Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Russian, Polish, Arabic and English. 🔎 I am Gustavo Llusá, Argentine, after traveling for several years in more than 60 countries, I settled in Latvia where I got married and learned to know another way of life, on the other side of the map. #FromOtherSideOfTheMap 👇👇👇 COMMENT AND THINK
