Norba | Megalithic Polygonal Construction in Ancient Italy | Megalithomania

Hugh Newman explores the remarkable megalithic site of Norba in Lazio, Italy. Officially it dates back to around 500 BC, but it may be much older. It has polygonal masonry like that in Peru and a rounded entrance tower similar to the Nuraghe's of Sardinia and Chulpa Towers of South America. Norba was part of the 'Latin League' a series of tribes who stood up against the early Etruscan Romans. Copyright Megalithomania 2019. All Rights Reserved.
