Native Tyachiv – 696. This weekend, the city celebrated a significant date since the first written mention. With the beginning of a full-scale war, the format of celebrations in Tyachiv changed — loud concerts gave way to small but sincere events. On the main square of Tyachiv, thematic locations were set up, works were presented by communal institutions of the community. They are selling products - the goal is charitable, to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Creative youth presented their talents to the public — they sang Ukrainian songs and performed folk dances. During the solemn part, the community leadership presented thanks and awards to the military, police representatives, as well as those who made a significant contribution to the development of Tyachiv. The title of honorary citizen of the city of Tyachiv. One award was awarded posthumously to ATO participant Serhiy Ivanchev. At the cost of his own life, the Hero saved 13 comrades. The award was received by the fighter’s brother. This is not only a tribute to history, but also an opportunity to thank contemporaries who create the present of the city. Natalya Kabatsyy will also bear the title of honorary citizen. She admits that this is no ordinary responsibility. Traditionally, thanks and valuable gifts from the Tyachisvka City Council and People's Deputy Vasyl Petyovka were received by the oldest couple in the community and the youngest family. Among the nominees is Ms. Maria, who will celebrate a significant anniversary next year - 100 years. During her life, she raised 5 children and worked on a collective farm. The woman says she is glad that she spent more than 60 years of her life in this city. The celebration was not complete without gifts. At the event, a local entrepreneur handed over the keys to a new resuscitation vehicle for the needs of the local hospital. The event also discussed the issue of reparations for the families of the fallen soldiers. The provision of medical services will be carried out at the expense of the local budget and financial support of the People's Deputy of Ukraine Vasyl Petyovka. Despite the difficult times, Tyachiv remains united, grateful and strong. And meets its 696th anniversary with faith in a peaceful future.
