3 Trucks to Import from Germany and Start Your Own Business (Without Breaking the Bank) 🚛🇩🇪💸 In this video, I'll explain 3 truck models you can import from Germany at realistic prices, depending on your experience and budget: ✅ If you're just starting out (and want to avoid monthly payments). ✅ If you've been in business for a while (and are looking for a balance between cost and reliability). ✅ If you want something more premium (with comfort and technology). My goal is for you to understand why I chose these 3 models, how to optimize your investment, and above all, if you're thinking about using your unemployment benefits, which option might make the most sense for you. 💡 In this video you'll discover: 🔹 1) An option to start without stress — Renault T (approx. €30,000) If you're starting out as a freelancer and want to begin without taking out a loan, my recommendation for around €30,000 is a Renault T 480 or 520, but without the Turbo Compound (I prefer the "standard" version to avoid surprises and unusual breakdowns at the beginning). ✅ Why I like it: Renault has significantly improved the cabin and comfort. It has a Volvo engine and drivetrain, and it's delivering good results in terms of fuel consumption and reliability. There are workshops and spare parts everywhere. It depreciates quite a bit, so you can find very good ones at a good price. And most importantly: if you pay for it using your unemployment benefits, you eliminate the monthly payment and gain peace of mind. That peace of mind allows you to say yes or no to a trip, try out different jobs (curtainside, refrigerated, tipper, etc.), and, above all, dedicate time to what really makes you money: the numbers and the paperwork. For me, this is the other 50% of the business. 🔹 2) Option if you already have experience — Volvo FH 500 (approx. €50,000) Here I'm talking about someone who has already owned a truck, already has clients, routes, and clear figures. For around €50,000, I would look for a Volvo FH 500 with around 500,000–600,000 km, because normally up to 800,000 km, if it's well maintained, it doesn't require major investments. ✅ The best thing about this option: Reliability and brand. Top-notch service network. Good resale value (if you want to sell or trade it in, it's easy). It holds its value well, so you don't lose as much money over time. 🔹 3) Premium Option — Pre-owned Mercedes (€80,000–€90,000) This option is for professionals with fixed routes who know exactly what they can afford. Here, I would go for a pre-owned Mercedes with less than 100,000–150,000 km, so I can perform the initial maintenance myself and have complete control over the truck's upkeep. ✅ Why it makes sense: You avoid the brutal depreciation of the first year (when it drops from 130,000–140,000 km to 80,000–€90,000). You get comfort, technology, and a truly luxurious truck. If well-maintained, it can last for many years. ✅ Quick Summary (by budget) 💰 €30,000 → Renault T 💰 €50,000 → Volvo FH 500 💰 €80,000–€90,000 → Used Mercedes ⚠️ Quick Tips Before Buying Don't go into too much debt: the peace of mind of not having monthly payments is priceless. Initially, take the opportunity to try out different types of transport and routes until you find what gives you the best profit margin. Whenever possible, buy outside of Spain: they tend to be better maintained, have more extras, and you avoid the VAT hit. Don't jump at an expensive truck if you're still learning: the second and third are for those who already have real experience. 📩 If you have any questions, leave them in the comments or contact me through social media. #Trucks #SelfEmployed #Import #Germany #VolvoFH #RenaultT #MercedesTruck #Transport #Logistics #CapitalizingUnemployment #Truckers
