Director Fran Strine has gathered an all-star cast of musicians behind the stars to tell the story ‘Hired Gun’. ‘Hired Gun’ is a first-hand account of the sessions of some of the greatest albums ever made told by the people who played on the records. Strine gathered Derek St Holmes from Ted Nugent's records, Siedah Garrett from Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’, Justin Derrico from Pink’s band and Ray Parker Jr who before he found his own fame was a session muso for people like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. ‘Hired Gun’ is a fly on the wall approach to the music industry.
