I was heavily inspired by DJ's like the Crooklyn Clan, who where pioneers of the art of flipping hit songs, and turning them into club anthems. I started working on this project early 2020, the initial title was going to be 'Hot Summer'. Since the start of this year, so many unexpected events happened in the world that I decided to change the title to 'Odd Summer'. That's probably what this summer is going to be for a lot of us.
