Citroën CX 2400 I É Prestige, 1981

This CX Prestige Injection with automatic transmission is a third-hand car. The first owner lived in Montauban, just north of Toulouse. In 2002, the car passed to its second owner, an elderly gentleman from Lauzerte, 37 kilometers further north of Montauban. This owner drove the car very little and sold it in 2022 to the third owner in Darvoy, about 200 kilometers south of Paris. At that time, the odometer read 106,525 kilometers. In March 2024, a friend who is a car dealer in Berlin discovered the vehicle, which was still in completely original condition with its original paint, and had a friend drive it to Berlin. During this drive, the driver was able to thoroughly test the functionality of all the components, including the air conditioning. Photos of this trip are available. This car dealer friend brought the car to us for a professional inspection and left it with us for sale. The original paint is now somewhat dull in places, and there are a few minor scratches and dents, but all of this confirms the CX's good original condition with a current mileage of 113,908 kilometers. When this car was built, the French high-speed train TGV (train à grande vitesse) was making its debut, and many businesspeople wondered which mode of travel would be more comfortable: traveling by TGV or in the back of a CX Prestige.
