Fiberglassing the engine areas & more. August 2022 update - Boat Restoration EP091

In this episode I install one layer of 1708 fiberglass with epoxy over the existing hull fiberglass in the engine areas to get a smoother more even and consistent surface after doing some minor repairs. I also install new marine grade plywood at the strut/rudder areas in the cockpit and add multiple layers of fiberglass over the top of those areas for added strength. Quick update on the bottom gelcoat issues at the strut/rudder areas and my game plan for dealing with the needed repairs.
