Inspirational Catholic Mothers

Louisa Rolls Vaughan was a Catholic convert who was passionate about raising holy children. She turned to the lives of the saints for inspiration, praying to the mothers of saints for help in guiding her children. Amazingly, Louisa’s children included a cardinal, an archbishop, a bishop, three priests, and four nuns. I think she had the right idea regarding using saintly lives for inspiration, so here are some examples of holy Catholic mothers for us to ruminate upon this upcoming Mother’s Day. In addition to Louisa, we will look at Sofia Sheptytsky, Maria Cristina Cella Mocellin, Eurosia Fabris, Margherita Occhiena, and Ivanka Skrabec Novak. --- Thank you for checking out this video. This channel is focused on new saints, blesseds, and venerables of the Catholic Church, as well as other Catholics who are on the path to sainthood. It also covers Catholic martyrs of the 20th and 21st centuries. If you know about an inspiring Catholic who is currently on the path to sainthood, please let me know and I can try to cover them in the future! God bless! And be sure to check out the other saint stories on my channel! #catholicsaint #catholicsaints #livesofthesaints
