AutoCAD Plant 3D: The Branch Table

This video highlights the process for customizing a Branch Table in the Plant 3D project Spec. Projects and drawings in AutoCAD® Plant 3D are controlled by the piping specifications, also known as Specs. The Specs define what components (parts) are available for use in a project. The Specs can also help determine default priorities when there are multiple parts of the same size, known as Conflicts. Branches are unique since they may consist of multiple parts. To manage the complexity of available options with Branches when routing pipe and ensure project standards are met, each Spec maintains a customizable Branch Table assignment to determine the fittings to be used in any given situation.
