Delaware Canal Adventure: LOCKS 22 & 23
Join me as I explore one of the most fascinating sections of the Delaware Canal in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. This unique spot was once home to two separate canal locks before they were eventually combined into a single lock system. Along the way, we'll search for the possible lock tender's house, discover the remains of an old mill along the Delaware River, and visit an incredible "river of rocks" stretching far out into the water. If you enjoy history, nature, hidden gems, and imagining how life and transportation worked in centuries past, this little adventure is sure to capture your imagination. Come along as we uncover the stories, engineering, and natural beauty that make this stretch of the Delaware Canal so special. #DelawareCanal #PennsylvaniaHistory #NorthamptonCountyPA #CanalHistory #HiddenPennsylvania #Jennsylvania #ExplorePA
