April 16, 1984: Chris debuts his new character during Dave's Opening Remarks, followed by a more formal introduction and schedule for future episodes later in Act 1, with a phone call from former astronaut Col. Gordon Cooper. (sorry for the poor video quality) 2. April 23, 1984: Act 4. Chris's heart isn't in it, and a telegram and another call from Gordon Cooper 3. May 3, 1984: during Viewer Mail 4. May 7, 1984: Matt Wickline stands in for Chris; then into the dressing room with Edd Hall and Jeff Martin, and yet another call from Gordon Cooper 5. May 15, 1984: Act 5. Chris meets the woman of his dreams, Late Night Production Staffer (and real-life spouse) Paula Niedert 6. May 17, 1984: during Viewer Mail. Chris falls in love 7. May 22, 1984: Chris gets married 8. May 24, 1984: during Viewer Mail Chris with family 9. May 30, 1984: during opening remarks on International Night #3 10. June 14, 1984: Stupid Pet Trick interrupt 11. June 19, 1984: Last Act - Chris falls ill and Dave takes a call from Gordon Cooper 12. June 16, 1984: Act 4 - Chris's apparition and one last call from a freaked-out Gordon Cooper Note: This is a revised version; the earlier upload included an A&E voice-over during the closing credits of the Death episode.
