When working on a lathe, the final finish makes all the difference. The problem is that vibrations or marks often remain on the workpiece. That's why I made a sandpaper holder from a raw piece. I flattened the material, made the M10 thread, and created slots for the sandpaper. The important part is the depth: if you make a mistake, the sandpaper won't hold and work properly. Once mounted on the tool holder, I can improve the finish directly on the machine. A simple solution, but very useful in the workshop.
