How to Fix FIMI X8 SE 2020 Camera Lens Focus Issue - Fimi X8 SE Blurry Image and Video Solutions

Hey Today I will show you how to fix fimi x8 se 2020 out of focus issue. Obtusely fimi is a good budget drone, but there have lots of lacks. Example- poor quality control, out of focus issue in-camera, gimble issue, Zillow effect in camera, etc. However recently I have bought a fimi x8 drone from my county. And it’s the price is 700$ in our country because there is no legal way to import drones in our county and custom require lots of money for customs clearance. It’s maybe surprising for you because you have bought this drone for 400-450 in banggood or alixpress. However, come to the main point. Now I will show you how to fix out of focus or blurry camera issue in your fimi x8 se 2020. So let's start…… At first, you need to open the camera lens so you need some equipment’s 1. You need hot air flow to open the camera lens glass. Most of people use hairdryers but I have used my room heater because I have no hairdryer. 2. Sharp blade or razor blade to open the camera protector 3. Tweezers to rotate the camera ring focus. 4. And a ND Filter ( It’s not necessary but if you have it’s good for check the quality ) Step one Turn on your hot air flow and carefully hit your drone camera lens, Make sure it’s not overheating or underheat. I recommended 50-55 degrees Celsius temperature. When you heat the camera lens make sure only heat this specific area and keep your hand on the camera glass, When it’s overheating take away from the hot air flow. Heat the lens 2 min then use your blade to remove the camera glass. There is very little space between the camera glass and the gimble body. So you need a sharp object like a blade or shaving razor to remove the camera glass from the body. I have attached a video on how to remove it. Check it carefully and do it yourself. It’s a major part because if you are not doing it well it’s can scratch your camera lens glass. So do it carefully. Step two When you remove the camera lens glass you need a Tweezers to rotate the camera lens focus. If you have a right or left side out of focus issue just rotate the lens clockwise 5-10 degree. Step Three If you have ND filter just wear ND filter on the camera and make a test fly to see the video quality. If it does not work then adjust the focus clockwise 10-15 degrees then check again the video quality. I hope it’s working because my drone has the same problem and I have fixed the issue to follow this method. However, if it does not work try to small rotate like 2-3 degrees every time and check the video footage. I hope you will find a solution to fix it. Caution – Don’t overheat your camera lens ( 50-55 degree is sweat able template for it) Remove glass carefully Rotate the camera focus carefully I hope your problem will be fixed to see this video, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me. I am always open to your questions.
