Raft Race 2025 Hartlepool Headland

The annual Raft Race in Hartlepool is part of the Carnival events, and normally brings a close to the summer proceedings. Since its revival and a new lease of life, quite a few years ago, it has been held on the Fish Sands, with live music and festivities at the town square (Squarcle) outside the Borough Hall. This year it was a packed event with 4 rafts taking to the start line, and hundreds and hundreds of happy spectators in the late summer sunshine.
