SSX Community Poll 2021 - SSX 3

Results of the SSX community poll for the 3nd SSX game. A ranking of the three best & three worst tracks race tracks along with two best and worst slopestyle events in the game. Spreadsheet detailing results: (link will be put here once all videos have been uploaded) Here are my opinions: Race: 3rd Best: Ruthless Ridge. I think the sunset/sunrise aestetic is very appealing to look at when riding. It gives the map some vibrancy and distinction. I like that there are many different paths as well. I bet there are many I have yet to take to be honest. It is a nice course in terms of big air but also some faster sections. I think it would be very fun to freeride on even though I never freeride in ssx. 2nd Best: Snow Jam might be a basic choice but it is the track I have played the most and I always loved how wide it felt. A very big improvment over Snowdream. The track feels very varied as well, you go through sections that look rather different yet feel like they belong. Best: Gravitude an unexpected choice for those who think they know me. I think it is becfause the fastest path (or what I think is the fastes path) is just very enjoyable to do. The track is memorable and even though it is narrow and not very beginer friendly I latched onto it. Has a nice design too with the waterfalls, the crashed plane, the bridge, the fun turn with the speedbost etc. 3rd Worst: Intimidator. Something has to be 3rd worst and I honestly prefer Metro city over Intimidator. There are still many good things about this track, the torii gates, the section with the falling trees look epic. I suppose the begining of this track isn't quite as inspiering though and that area could have been improved. 2nd Worst: The Throne. I was never a huge fan of the backcountry tracks besides happiness. I just find them quite gritty and Throne is a little underwhelming for a final track. The redeeming and memeorable quality is the cave section with the purple hue and crystals. Why could we not have had a track that locked like that? Chrystalis Jam lol! Worst: Queenie Ruthless. I was never a huge fan of the backcountry tracks besides happiness. I just find them quite gritty and a little underwhelming. Lots of fog, nothing really stands out much. Freestyle/Slopestyle: 2nd best: Hapiness is my favorite backcountry by far. I like the jumps and the bright vibe it has as you are playing against the first rival. It feels light-hearted. It also reminds me the most of Untracked which for me is a possitive association Best: Style Mile! I just think it is a well excecuted track with nice jumps, many paths you can take that are fun to try. The level also does not feel all that punishing. 2nd Worst: The Throne just because there are not many great trick opportunities and it took me ages to learn how to beat it. Worst: Kick Doubt. It just does not cater to my playstyle. Either do combos, get multipliers, monster tricks or a weird mix of all three. I don't want to do combos, I don't care for monster tricks and I don't like being that dependant on multipliers. The track has a good design but for me it has never been enjoyable to play since it was not designed for my type of playstyle. BONUS: Red station: I forgot to leave my opinion in my own poll lol! But it was because of the sunset. Big air - Launch Time: I like how you can use the one pipe as a halfpipe if you time it well Superpipe - The Junction is a simple pipe but on the other hand it has a nice envioronment around it, feels like it is in a section of Metro and that Metro should have looked like.
