It has a lightweight, portable design that you can easily take with you on the go. There's an adjustable strap to help you attach it to your bag or backpack, so it's ideal for travel. It has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance that certifies it to be fully dust-tight and immersible, in up to a meter of water for 30 minutes! Unfortunately, it can't get very loud, so it can't fill up a large space with your audio. Battery Time: This speaker is good for outdoor use; it feels sturdy and durable, even though it's small in size. It is also battery-operated and has over 12 hours of continuous playback time which is excellent. There are some compression artifacts at max volume, though. Sorry, loud music listeners. Overall, the Sony XB43 is great for outdoor use. It has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, so you can take it outdoors with you without needing to worry about getting it a little dusty or wet (especially from light rain). It lasts around 15 hours on a single charge, which is incredible; and there are lots of power-saving features available. However, its soundstage isn't very immersive, and there is some compression present at a max volume which was a downside for me, personally.
