Repairing a 1985 Toshiba RT 6035, My Teenage Boombox

For quite a few years I have periodically been looking on eBay to see if anyone was selling the old boombox I had in the mid 80s, never had any luck, but recently I had a look and first search result was exactly the same unit I had. It had a few issues but I thought worst case scenario was it would be a display unit on a shelf. So I gave it a go, used a soldering iron for the first time ever lol. The tape deck didn't work at all, I replaced the drive belt as plays good as new now. My unit I had shows a brief appearance in my "Porlock 1992" home video but then it was 6 or 7 years old. Making this video gave me huge nostalgic feelings lol. At the end of video is an actual audio recording of me and a mate from 1985 recorded on one of these boomboxes.
