River Camping Bled - Slovenia

River Camping Bled is a newer campsite in region Upper Carniola, opened in summer 2020. The campsite is located halfway between Lesce and Bled, and just 2 kilometres from the motorway exit. Bled is just 2 km away, while Radovljica is 4 km away, and there is a cycle path in both directions. The location allows guests to enjoy a wide range of day trips, and the campsite is geared towards families, with excellent playgrounds, a bike park and two heated swimming pools. River Camping Bled offers camping on well-groomed pitches, which are sunny in the central part, with more shade in the part near the river. In addition, mobile homes, glamping tents and small wooden glamping houses can be rented. NEW - marked camping pitches also in the shady part, new football pitch, bakery, additional swimming pool, new trees planted to provide even more shade on the pitches, improved animation in high season, new mini house - tiny home Adria for 2+1 persons and some of the newest types of mobile homes Adria for 4-6 persons. The central part of River Camping Bled, surrounded on three sides by the Sava River, includes about 300 camping pitches (80-120 m2), with electricity connection and some pitches with water and drainage. The central part is sunny, with more shade in the part by the river and along the western part of the campsite. The campsite has three modern sanitary facilities, which are also adapted for children and people with disabilities, and private bathrooms are also available for rent. The sanitary facilities include a dishwashing area and laundry facilities. There is also a caravan storage area at the edge of the campsite. There is a heated swimming pool (open weather-dependently from late April to mid-September), a pebble beach by the Sava River, a large wooden playground for children, a fenced football pitch, table tennis and a pump track. Bicycle rental is also available. The camp also has a multi-purpose hall above the sanitary facilities, where various activities take place, e.g. children's animation in bad weather, yoga, seminars, etc. River Camping Bled is dog-friendly, so there is a special shower area for dogs and a riverside area where dogs can also swim. The campsite has a bakery and a café where you can order food. A larger grocery shop is 1 km away. We recommend cycling trips around Radovljica and Bled, a family rafting trip on the Sava River or the Dolinka zip line. There is also a children's Dino Park, the Royal Bled Golf Course and horse riding nearby.
