Making Bones
Just as if I needed another hobby, recently I've taken up clawhammer banjo. That has lead to another interest and that is playing the "bones" and harmonica. While the bones get their name from, well, bones, you can also make them out of just about any hardwood. So on a cold snowy day, I made two sets (they're usually played in pairs). One out of locally harvested and milled pecan, and the other out of red oak from Lowe's.
