The Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are committed to strengthening national pharmaceutical independence through the TNI Pharmaceutical Institute (Lafi TNI), as part of the defense health resilience strategy. The Director General of Defense Planning at the Ministry of Defense, Rear Admiral Supo Dwi Diantara, inspected all TNI Lafi units to ensure production quality, equipment readiness, and compliance with BPOM standards and regulations. The TNI Lafi consists of three main units: the Army Lafi in Bandung, which produces 70 types of drugs; the Navy Lafi in Jakarta, which produces 44 types of drugs; and the Air Force Lafi at Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base, which produces 30 types of drugs. All three play a crucial role in supporting the availability of drugs for soldiers and strengthening an independent and integrated national pharmaceutical system.
