Tsarist Russia Through Photos | Part 2

In this video, we share wonderful photos of life in Tsarist Russia. Tsarist Russia was a vast kingdom that spanned most of northern Eurasia from its proclamation in November 1721 until its dissolution in March 1917. At its peak in the late nineteenth century, it covered about 22,800,000 square kilometers (8,800,000 square miles), roughly one-sixth of the world's land area, making it the third-largest empire in history. The Empire's 1897 census, the only census it conducted, found a population of 125.6 million with great ethnic, linguistic, religious, and socio-economic diversity.
